There should probably be a contest for Julia's wedding dress design - the turn of the century was a really stylish era.
Oh hmm. After 7 years of waiting, there probably won't be much left of that dress the next morning.
Wouldn't want to waste so much silk!

This is my choice for Julia's dress. The shape is perfect for her body type. Maybe even the colour too. I might change the embellishments to off-white. Such a conundrum...a white dress for a widow would be unheard of, but she's marrying her true love. Sigh.

Oooooooooooooooh. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I like this one, too! I think Julia needs a little bit of color, and this is a good tint for her.

I really liked your idea of a contest for ideas about Julia's wedding dress. In order to be fair it must allow suggestions as opposed to original drawings. I'd be dead in the water. And the winner gets to be an extra for filming the wedding scene. Wouldn't that just be the best shipper prize EVER!!!

Then again, that's a way to actually visit Toronto.... I doubt I'd win if it's an art contest, though, lol. I think CBC should seriously consider this as a marketing campaign. I've seen very similar things done on much lower budget forms of entertainment like video games, which run costume design contests and mechanime video contests for free advertising all the time. The winners get to see their designs actually used, though I'm sure the licensing would be much trickier on TV shows. Honestly, I think the designs we already found win.

I totally agree. How about we share the prize? You can come to Toronto, stay with me, and we BOTH get to go to the filming!! XD

LMFAO!! They'd be afraid the dog would do something inappropriate and distract up at the pivotal moment. Seriously, would you want to risk it?

Well then maybe he could be the ring bearer Xb? I was thinking maybe William and Julia could just get a dog until they are ready to adopt.

That could work but the poor thing would be alone at home a lot! And for my 100th post, my prediction is that Julia will, in fact, get pregnant before they get to an adoption!! That would make me a very happy camper .

I love the idea of a contest! I'm afraid fashion is not my forte, but I would definitely cheer on you two! I don't think Julia will be getting pregnant anytime soon though. My assumption was that her uterus was damaged beyond repair during her abortion.
