Yes he probably does but only up to a point. That's when the bodice ripping begins... I would think it's the other way round: the sexual frustration is so pent up William will need to get some bodice ripping out of his system. He will probably be "driving" for most of the honeymoon, thanks to all of Julia's teasing.  But once they are settled into the connubial bliss stage, I think nothing will give William more joy than Julia spontaneous taking the wheel. He trusts her - no "safe words" necessary. ROFL! I think you two should get a room...so you can collaborate on your fanfic. Clearly your brains work on the same tangent! I LOVE the confession angle XD. "William," Julia asked, smiling prettily as she stood by the bed. "Do you trust me?" "Of course" he answered. Trying to wonder what she was up to, but having difficulty thinking-he was far too distracted as she stood in from of him, with only her corset and his homburg perched jauntily on her head. "Good" she answered as she knelt on the bed and it was then that he noticed she had one of his ties in her hands, and she wordlessly began to wrap the tie around his hands and wrap it again around the headboard. "J-Julia" he stammered, but she just laid her finger on his lips, as she finished tying the knot. "You said you trusted me, William" she reminded him, and he merely nodded. Then, she straddled him and sank down upon him, and all coherent thought left his head. |

In the smutty fic taking shape in my head, bliss will begin with said tie removal. Enter Dark!William, who will proceed to engage in much bodice ripping. In fact, buttons and such will be ricocheting around the room like bullets. Dark!William will do his thing. Then Julia will take over.
Which is fine with William because you bet your a$$ he likes women on top. hmm, William may be too exhausted to come into work and do any actual mystery solving for quite a while.  Well yeah, he's got 7 years of sexual frustration built up.  |

Married couples are supposed to enjoy one another...One of the biggest resentments of the Catholic Church was that people had to confess about their intimate lives, even in marriage. I believe the church also had very specific bedroom rules as well, hence the famous "missionary position". It could get quite prurient, and sometimes the priest could be an unqualified, uneducated jerk from a privileged aristocratic family. This was one of the things that drove the anticlerical movement in Catholic countries in the late 19th century. Anyway, if Julia took William into any "dark places", he would feel the need to confess (definitely any situation in which a "safe word" would be required, lol). But...if Julia did something kinky and all William felt was a lot of hot love going on, then he'd probably not feel a huge need to confess even if they didn't follow all the rules. There are some rules you just ignore if they seem "out of date" or "everybody ignores them". Also we've seen William check in with God first: if he thinks it's a matter of Divine Love, then he's going to shrug off what the priest says. I can see this happening: lots of insinuation and coded language, while William absolutely can't leave because the Mayor is there are something. She better let him drive when they get home. |
