The writers are probably already planning Season 9 - so now is the time to let them know what you think! I do it Snacky, like all the time As Carco is reminding us all, just don't expect your bit advice to be heeded or become a control freak about how much you represent "the fandom". All we can do is each give our opinions and hope they provide enough common threads that the writers will find them useful. I really can't wait to see what happens with Season 9!

OMG, you're a GODDESS! I didn't even notice you were approaching deityhood! What temple are you choosing, oh mighty one? I've decided that I will be supreme overlord of the Self-Proclaimed Screencap God & Goddess of the Murdochian Temporal Continuum temples. You are definitely the supreme goddess of avatars. I still love mine.

I'm a bit late to the party on this one but alas! I am here now! "I think that Constable Crabtree should be encouraged to follow his instincts."* *but only when supernatural elements are not invovled and he follows a more rational line of thinking. i.e no werewolves, zombies, mummies and martians. I loved how quickly Julia and the girls hid those wine glasses. (and how Julia so quickly drowned hers) Oh my goodness. That was a well paced pole. I have a feeling the barber's running a scam. This cannot end well for the Brackenrieds. (maybe they end up living in the suite next to the Murdoch's in the hotel?) That would be funny/awkward. Oh Murdoch making innuendos. You can tell someone is married now. Murdoch is not good with Simon. Like not at all. Ugh. I wish Miss Hamiltion would remove herself from that fox she is wearing. OOHH Margaret Haile's face when she saw those pamphlets USE YOUR KUNG FU SKILLS GEORGE "He'll be fine" *RUN AWAY RUN AWAY* d'awww GENDA! oh my goodness that cheezy music awwww yeesss Murdoch undercover shotsshotsshotsshotsshotsshotsshotsshots George looked somewhat concerned, with both Brackenreid and Murdoch touching him. d'aww he looked so flabbergasted. I want Crabtree to get the position, but I want him to continue at Stationhouse No. 4. IM SO TORN *sobs* Had to rewatch to get your point about the pole! Agreed on the cheesy music: but it matches the action. The wrestling is fake. Did anyone else notice Virugu playing rock, paper, scissors in the background in the dressing room? And that David Chilton is indeed the author of the book, The Wealthy Barber? Still love the phone conversation between the inspector and Margaret. And what critter was Mrs. Hamilton wearing?

I would never do that, thinking that I represent a fandom. I just put what are my thoughts about the episodes I'm watching while giving my arguments and staying respectful to the people involved in the show. The reasons I'm commenting and participating in conversation is that people are making some valid points and they observe things that I might have missed and also because I know the comments are being read. Are they going to have an impact on the new season only time will tell but it would be quite arrogant from me to presume that because I'm posting comments they will be taken in consideration in future story lines or that I represent a part of the audience; this is not the reason I'm giving my opinion at all

I was mainly recapping carco's points, which serve as a good reminder for us all to be patient when the writers seem to be doing evil.

LOL about The Wealthy Barber!!! I don't know about the critter Margaret was wearing, but I filched one off a stole from the costume department of a local stock theater when I was a kid, and my parents were very pointed about knowing exactly where I "found" it. What's the deal with the pole?

What? I missed an innuendo? It was a very very subtle one, where Murdoch is telling George--oh hold on i'll quote directly This innuendo was rather amusing if you harken back to The Knockdown when William was so worried about whether women were attracted to brawn vs. brains. Did William bulk up...to keep pace?

And what critter was Mrs. Hamilton wearing? I remember when mink stoles like that were quite stylish among ladies of a certain age.....friends of my grandmother used to wear them over their wool suits and with their alligator bags and shoes.........Eaton's used to do quite a lot of business in the cold storage of furs in the summer.....
Cheers

I noticed that Julia really enjoys drinking whisky.. Over tea it seems... Do you think she is becoming addicted ? Most of the time she is drinking wine. The situation in this episode merited stronger stuff!

I noticed that Julia really enjoys drinking whisky.. Over tea it seems... Do you think she is becoming addicted ? Naw, they wouldn't do something that serious with a main character on MM. The closest they have ever come is Brackenreid's humorous addiction to cocaine with his "gold cure". I think they might find ways to play Julia's indulgence in drink for humor - especially as prohibition era approaches (did they have something like this in Canada?). Also it will probably create a bit of tension with William. They might allow Julia to get drunk to emphasize some emotional situation, like a fight with William over whether they should start a family. But a Julia addiction story? That would be too soap opera for MM. I bet if we got a larger base of fanfic writers, we will see it there, though.
