I'm conflicted...I have a feeling Watts case will come to some sort of head next week, but how does that portend to the finale? Is Pendrick/Meyers somehow involved in W's fall, or is James Gillies reaching out from beyond the grave? Hmmm, is it weird that I'm dreading and looking forward to the season finale at the same time?

I must be out of sync, but I've really enjoyed this season, with a couple of the episodes up there are all time favourites. I agree it seems to be going by really quickly, and I miss Brackenreid, but overall, I think it has been a one of the better seasons..... I'll agree about some of the eps being good, 4 in particular, but there's something missing in general ... and it's not Brackenreid. I am enjoying this season and still loving the show. The missing element for me is Jilliam scenes, Julia Ogden scenes specifically. For me the enjoyment of an episode is closely related to how much screen time Julia gets. ... I hope she saves William again next season from what ever Hell he gets into.

Julia's time in the morgue seems to be just asking Miss James to tell William the results of tests. I'm not liking the ways she's being sidelined again.

I need a little less George and a lot more Julia. I initially fell in love with the show for the strength and intelligence of Julia, and her partnership with the handsome and clever detective. The way they sprinkled some comedy and Toronto history in with the mystery was perfect. Lately the mix seems much different. The lack of a strong female presence is what I miss most. Ever since Dr. Grace left, the balance of girl power has been off. I'm hoping we'll soon see more of Julia and Freddie Pink or Rebecca to rectify the recent lack of strong, independent females on screen.

I was never a fan of Dr. Grace as she displaced Julia from the morgue and that was the beginning of Julia being sidelined. I realize when Helene wasn't available they had to bring in another Dr. for the morgue but I always hated that Julia's involvement in the mysteries was forced. I was happy when Dr. Grace went to London and Julia could once again take up her rightful place in the morgue and mysteries. Unfortunately that role is being reduced ... again. I like Rebecca James, I'd just rather she wasn't in the morgue. Now Freddie Pink I do like because she doesn't push anyone out of place, she just adds another strong female character.

I should clarify that I am NOT advocating for a return of Dr. Grace. I am very much in favor of more screen time for Julia. If she were interacting with other strong women, like Freddie Pink, that would be even better. I'd be happy if Julia were teaching or working in the morgue or both. I crave more Julia Ogden and more Girl Power in whatever ways the writers can provide it. :-)

Hi! we will be seeing the the james Gillies episode tonight. In Oz. I am disappointed to read that Jilliam is lacking this season. An email to Julie Lacey at Shaftesbury to have a whinge about the lack of Jilliam could be in order.Maureen Jennings is also a fan of Jilliam I might email her as well. I think it is a really important part of the show and should not be overlooked. So far the series has been brilliant. I love all the posts and look forward to spoilers.....keep it up guys.

Great Balls of Fire 1&2, The Devil Inside (despite it being Gillies ... again!) and Mr. Murdoch's Neighbourhood. I quite liked A Study in Pink (I'm really starting to like Freddie Pink) and Weekend at Murdoch's, but I wouldn't say they were my favourites.

Are you coming for a visit this summer? Do you mind if I bring a little person? I would be expecting a large, a medium and a small person!!!

The preview shows William on the run and accused of murder. Who do they think William would murder? Him being on the run doesn't explain why PM thinks we'll dislike the episode It's not the first time William's been in trouble with the police or that one of the characters has been falsely accused of murder. That's not something most of us would hate because it's bound to be sorted out at some point. We're supposed to be getting a cliffhanger aren't we? So I guess the case won't be getting cleared up by the end of the episode.

I'm okay with this because I know there can't be a season 11 without him. Of course it'll be upsetting to see William be accused of something he didn't do, but I know it'll be resolved. However, if there is an NCIS style shocker where someone kills Julia in the final few seconds, it'll be a different story, and I'd probably be finished with the show.

If they kill Julia then then I walk away from Murdoch Mysteries. Julia leaving the show is a deal breaker for me. William 'dying' wouldn't bother me too much because he'll be back next season. Though I'd hate to see Julia's reaction to believing him dead. That would be heartbreaking to watch. Less than a week before we find out what the big season ending will be.

I wonder who Brackenreid has in his sights:
