Good point Hannikan!i think is clear Julia loves William and continue to' love him, like i have already said now is interesting know more about the letter and see when Julia has written it..(for sure before go in Buffalo, but if she doesn't want William find it now,why not resume it?)

^^yeah hannikan, i was just thinking the same thing. i hope this is what Darcy was thinking cuz Francis saw how they looked at each other really quickly too. unfortunately everyone knows the girl always ends up with Darcy, just kidding, i was referring to Pride and Prejudice for anyone who was confused.

Yeah I think you're right, camilla, about Julia having written the letter before going to Buffalo. That would make much more sense given that she didn't say good bye or tell William when her train left. If she wrote this letter and left it for him before going to the train she was probably expecting to see him (she did look around like she was waiting for someone). When he didn't show up before she left she would have thought he didn't reciprocate the feelings she expressed in the letter. So somehow he didn't see the letter all this time and will discover it next week.

That's a good theory, Hannikan! I think that's the most logical reason, unless she puts it there after she came back from Buffalo but it seems unlikely

Well, if she and Darcy are supposed to marry in the next episode I'm guessing he will find it before they do. Maybe right before (and that could mean at the end of the episode). We'll have to see. Based on the episode guide it doesn't seem like Darcy will be around after the next episode and Julia will be around... Even if William doesn't see the letter in the next episode the audience/viewers will.

I really doubt that Julia will end up marrying Darcy. He's not mentioned again in the episode guide after ep 5. It's possible I suppose but I doubt it.

Imdb doesn't have all the actors info up yet for S4. I don't think he's up there yet. I've checked recently because I was curious if I would recognize anyone in this season from Sullivan productions (since there have been several in past seasons).

Yeah, he's one of the actors who isn't listed yet. They probably won't put all the actor's names up until it airs in Canada. His name might be on Alibi's website though.

At the beginning of the fourth season, Julia had been gone for six months (I forgot where exactly this was mentioned). If she had left the letter for William before leaving for Buffalo (a more probable scenario than her writing the letter after having met and become engaged to Darcy) wouldn't you think that William would have found that letter within a few weeks of Julia's departure? Or was he so depressed that he didn't bother cleaning up his desk for that entire 6-month period? "The letter she wrote to Murdoch confessing her love for him is lying beneath his desk blotter and he has no idea it exists." Are these desk blotters being used only once a year? I doubt it. I think the writers are stretching it a bit with this whole love letter business. Perhaps if it had accidentally fallen behind a radiator or something...

Yeah, in S4 ep 1 the inspector said it had been 6 months since Julia left. So by now it's been at least 9 months (in S4 ep 2 they said it was May or June-it had been 4 mos since Feb-and when she left in TTE it looked like fall). Yeah, I don't know how they'll reveal that he missed seeing the letter. I think it falling behind something or being covered up by something (like the ink blotter) is possible. I'm sure he would use the blotter a lot but maybe not look under it. It is possible that she left it when she came to Buffalo in Downstairs, Upstairs but I think it makes her behavior in the ending of S3 make more sense if she left it before she left Toronto.
